Responsibilities
- Oversee NPDES permit compliance for industrial facilities
- Develop and implement watershed restoration projects
- Conduct environmental site assessments for county projects
- Lead public outreach campaigns on conservation practices
- Analyze environmental data using GIS mapping tools
- Coordinate with state EPA agencies on regulatory matters
- Mentor junior environmental staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5+ years of environmental compliance experience
- Valid Florida Professional Engineer or Scientist license
- Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS and environmental modeling software
- Demonstrated grant writing success for conservation projects
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Experience with Florida environmental regulations (Chapter 62-7)
