Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental compliance inspections and enforcement actions for industrial facilities
- Develop and implement pollution prevention programs for Duval County businesses
- Analyze environmental data using GIS and statistical modeling tools
- Prepare regulatory reports and documentation for EPA compliance
- Train local government officials on environmental best practices
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community and industry partners
- Monitor water quality in St. Johns River watershed systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience
- Professional certification (e.g., QEP, CHMM) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of FDEP and EPA regulations
- Proficient in ArcGIS and environmental data analysis software
- Strong written communication skills for technical reporting
- Valid Florida driver's license
