Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance monitoring and enforcement activities for industrial facilities in North Texas
- Develop and implement watershed protection plans for critical Texas water bodies
- Lead public outreach initiatives to educate communities on environmental regulations
- Analyze environmental data using GIS and statistical modeling tools
- Coordinate with federal agencies on EPA Superfund and Brownfield projects
- Prepare detailed technical reports and regulatory recommendations
- Mentor junior staff on environmental assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of environmental regulatory experience in Texas
- TCEQ Inspector Certification or equivalent state credentials
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software and environmental data analysis
- Demonstrated experience with public speaking and community engagement
- Strong knowledge of federal (EPA) and state environmental regulations
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
