Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide pollution prevention programs
- Conduct environmental compliance inspections for industrial facilities
- Analyze environmental data to create actionable sustainability reports
- Coordinate with state agencies on regulatory enforcement matters
- Lead public outreach initiatives on waste reduction strategies
- Manage grant funding applications for green infrastructure projects

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5+ years of environmental regulatory experience
- Professional certification (e.g., CHMM, QEP) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of EPA/NCDEQ regulations
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental data software
- Strong grant writing and project management skills
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to lift 25 lbs for field inspections
