Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily office operations to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance with federal regulations.
- Manage complex scheduling, domestic and international travel arrangements, and itineraries for senior leadership.
- Prepare and coordinate high-level correspondence, briefing materials, meeting agendas, and minutes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure strict adherence to OPM (Office of Personnel Management) record-keeping standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison for the department.
- Coordinate inter-agency communications and assist in the implementation of new administrative policies and procedures.
- Monitor office supplies and budget expenditures for administrative expenses.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government administrative roles, preferably within the Executive Branch.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong working knowledge of OPM regulations, federal grant management guidelines, and government ethics rules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional, official correspondence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and federal grant management software.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
