Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret veteran healthcare data to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Design and implement advanced data models using SQL, Python, and R
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data security regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve veteran care outcomes
- Present findings to senior officials through clear, actionable reports
- Maintain and optimize large-scale federal databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal data analysis roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Expert knowledge of federal data governance frameworks
- Experience with VA-specific healthcare data systems (e.g., CDW, VistA)
- Strong statistical analysis and predictive modeling skills
