Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support national security operations
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, NIST) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify emerging trends and threats
- Create predictive models to support resource allocation and operational planning
- Present findings to federal stakeholders through executive-level briefings
- Maintain data integrity across multiple classified and unclassified systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal/government data analysis roles
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for large-scale data processing
- Security clearance eligibility (or active clearance required)
- Advanced knowledge of federal data compliance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with geospatial data analysis (GIS) a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive reporting
