Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Design and implement automated data pipelines ensuring compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support evidence-based policy development
- Prepare comprehensive reports for congressional briefings and agency leadership
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control protocols
- Lead ad-hoc analysis projects addressing critical public health challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Advanced certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI)
