Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain complex data models to support federal reporting requirements and strategic decision-making.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create compelling dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and PowerBI to present insights to senior stakeholders and policymakers.
- Data Integrity: Perform rigorous data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with strict federal standards (e.g., FISMA).
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and trend forecasting to identify patterns and mitigate risks.
- Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and data lineage records for audit trails.
- Security: Adhere to all security protocols, including handling classified or sensitive unclassified information (SCI).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Visualization: Expert level experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Federal IT Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and data governance frameworks.
