What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Perform complex data mining and statistical analysis on classified and unclassified federal datasets to identify trends and anomalies.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and ensure data integrity across the enterprise.
- Conduct quality assurance testing on data pipelines and reporting mechanisms to maintain compliance with federal standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, briefings, and presentations for government stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Support security compliance efforts, ensuring all data handling and storage meet NISPOM and agency-specific regulations.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis methodologies within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal government or defense contracting environment.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases and experience with ETL processes.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation and advanced analytics.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
