Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to support program evaluation, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data governance standards, security protocols (e.g., FedRAMP), and compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts and government clients, to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize processes.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and data dictionaries to ensure data integrity and system accessibility.
- Conduct statistical modeling to forecast trends and provide recommendations based on empirical evidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience performing data analysis within the Federal Government or a prime defense contractor.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation (ETL).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required (or the ability to obtain one within 12 months).
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws and federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
