The Role:
In this position, you will serve as the technical lead for federal system integrations, ensuring compliance with NIST standards and ensuring the highest level of data security. You will collaborate closely with program managers and federal stakeholders to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex federal IT infrastructure systems, ensuring 99.9% uptime and security compliance.
- Lead the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and security patches for federal clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and implement mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for federal stakeholders, providing technical guidance and status reports on project milestones.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing federal environments.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or higher federal security clearance is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or IT infrastructure management.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and federal security frameworks (FISMA, DIACAP).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity best practices, and system administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
