Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain complex federal IT systems, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, manage security protocols, and ensure adherence to FISMA requirements and NIST standards.
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical teams in troubleshooting, system upgrades, and the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with federal officials and internal teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams, security plans, and change management records.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments, system administration, or software development.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance required.
- Certifications: PMP, CISSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of briefing senior leadership.
