Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal client systems in New York.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into legacy federal systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members and IT support personnel.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP standards.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Expert knowledge of network protocols, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong understanding of federal IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and client presentations.
