We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Federal IT Program Manager to lead complex, high-impact technology initiatives for federal agencies. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of federal IT projects, from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal compliance standards, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and Agency-specific guidelines.
- Oversee cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and subject matter experts, to deliver high-quality software and infrastructure solutions.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with federal clients, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost overruns.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, implementing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprints, Retrospectives) and drive continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is highly required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience managing federal IT projects or programs within the Public Sector.
- Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), OMB Circulars, and ITIL best practices.
- Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a federal environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical leadership.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
