Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of federal government IT infrastructure and networks.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, security standards, and FISMA requirements.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and developers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement robust mitigation strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract deliverables meet strict deadlines.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and system specifications.
- Provide expert technical guidance to federal stakeholders and project managers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal contracting or government IT environments.
- Expert knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) and virtualization.
- Strong project management skills (PMP certification preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance if not already held.
