Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for federal systems
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for cyber threats
- Analyze threat intelligence to predict and mitigate emerging risks
- Collaborate with cross-agency partners on security initiatives
- Maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security training
- Prepare executive-level cybersecurity briefings
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with federal or critical infrastructure experience
- CISSP or CEH certification required
- Expert knowledge of SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Active Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure during incidents
