Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced network security architectures for federal clients.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify potential security breaches.
- Ensure full compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal security mandates.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with third-party forensic teams during security events.
- Develop and deliver technical training to junior staff and government stakeholders on security best practices.
- Manage software licensing, patch management, and hardware lifecycle for federal systems.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments, specifically in Cybersecurity or Network Engineering.
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
