Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot federal IT infrastructure, servers, and workstations during night operations.
- Perform system backups, patch management, and security audits to ensure 99.9% system availability.
- Respond to critical alerts and resolve technical incidents for federal clients with zero downtime.
- Conduct security vulnerability assessments and implement necessary remediation protocols.
- Document technical procedures, incident reports, and change logs accurately.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handover of system status and critical issues.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT support or government contracting environments.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
- Experience with network troubleshooting (Cisco/Juniper preferred) and VPN management.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shift hours.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
