Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Support: Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems aligned with federal standards (FISMA/FedRAMP).
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and government clients to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Compliance Auditing: Conduct regular security assessments and risk management analyses to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Project Management: Lead technical projects from inception through deployment, adhering to strict timelines and budgets.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including system architectures, security plans, and operation manuals.
- Incident Response: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead incident response teams during system outages.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal or state government IT environments.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, PMP, or equivalent security clearance is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Agile methodologies, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
