Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for Federal and State IT contracts, from initiation to closure.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget tracking using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and provide executive-level reporting on project health and KPIs.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.
- Negotiate scope changes and resource allocation with government clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance or higher (required for Federal work).
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects within the Federal or State Government sector.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong experience with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and government acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage budgets over $1M and lead teams of 5+ members.
