Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure software solutions for government clients using modern architectures.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, security testing, and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and junior staff.
- Ensure all deliverables meet federal and state regulatory compliance standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex legacy systems during transition phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or software development within the public sector.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and government contracting standards (FISMA, NIST).
