We are currently seeking a highly skilled Pension Plan Specialist to manage Federal retirement claims and benefits in our Night Shift operations. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a stable, government-adjacent environment while enjoying the quiet efficiency of the evening shift.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Federal employees navigating complex pension structures. You will ensure accurate processing of FERS and CSRS benefits, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strict compliance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities
- Review and process Federal pension applications, withdrawals, and survivor benefit claims with 99% accuracy.
- Analyze complex retirement data to ensure proper calculation of service credits and annuities.
- Communicate complex pension plan details to Federal employees via phone and secure email portals.
- Conduct regular audits of pension records to identify and rectify processing errors.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government personnel data in compliance with OPM standards.
- Collaborate with the Payroll and Compliance teams to resolve outstanding pension discrepancies.
- Update employee records in the Federal Benefits Management System (FBMS) during off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience specifically within Federal Government Benefits or Pension Administration.
- Deep understanding of FERS (Federal Employees Retirement System) and CSRS (Civil Service Retirement System) regulations.
- Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and government-specific case management software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a quiet environment.
