Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic program plans for veteran services across Florida
- Manage multi-million dollar budgets and ensure fiscal compliance
- Coordinate with state agencies, congressional offices, and veteran organizations
- Oversee performance metrics and data-driven program improvements
- Lead cross-functional teams of federal employees and contractors
- Prepare congressional briefings and executive leadership reports
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and VA policies
Qualifications
- 5+ years federal program management experience (GS-13 level or equivalent)
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain
- Expertise in federal budgeting, procurement, and grants management
- Proven stakeholder engagement with veterans' advocacy groups
- Experience with federal performance management frameworks (GPRA, GPRA Modernization Act)
- Proficiency in federal IT systems (e.g., MAX, VA systems)
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
