Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Ensure full compliance with federal security standards, including FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes and deliverables.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement robust cybersecurity measures.
- Manage third-party integrations and maintain vendor relationships.
- Document technical requirements and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or IT support within the federal sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) and virtualization.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
