Responsibilities
- Lead development of the 2026 technology vision roadmap, identifying disruptive innovations and market inflection points
- Conduct horizon scanning across emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI ethics, sustainable systems)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align strategic initiatives with future technology trends
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and scenario planning frameworks
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on 2026 technology predictions
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing technology architectures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant STEM field
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, EU tech hubs, Asia R&D centers)
- Published author or speaker at major futurist conferences (WFS, Techonomy, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend prediction and pattern recognition
