Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps for 2026+ incorporating exponential technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging domains (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Develop predictive models using proprietary AI trend analysis platforms
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development frameworks
- Author thought leadership for industry publications and executive briefings
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with 8+ years applied foresight experience
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals (e.g., 'Futures', 'Technological Forecasting')
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused innovations
- Advanced proficiency in predictive analytics platforms (e.g., Palisade @RISK, Gartner Pulse)
- Deep understanding of exponential technology convergence patterns
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
