Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of government processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend strategic technology solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex IT systems and software applications for public sector clients.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including policymakers and technical teams, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure all systems comply with federal, state, and local government regulations and security standards.
- Lead code reviews, system testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and junior developers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Deep understanding of government contracting processes (e.g., FAR, State specific regulations).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
