Responsibilities
- Research, write, and submit 15+ competitive grant proposals annually totaling $5M+ in secured funding
- Develop and maintain relationships with 50+ foundation, corporate, and government funding partners
- Create compelling case statements, budgets, and impact reports that demonstrate organizational value
- Lead grant strategy sessions with cross-functional teams to align funding opportunities with program goals
- Manage complex grant reporting requirements ensuring 100% compliance and stewardship
- Maintain accurate grant pipeline tracking using Salesforce and grant management software
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in grant research and proposal development
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $1M+ in secured annual funding
- Proven success securing federal (HHS, HUD) and foundation grants in healthcare or human services
- Expertise in budget development, compliance, and reporting for government grants
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with portfolio demonstrating persuasive narratives
- Advanced proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and grant management tools
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- CFRE certification or equivalent professional development credentials
