Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and reports for diverse funding sources
- Manage a portfolio of 20+ active grants with 95%+ compliance metrics
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and foundation representatives
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and success stories
- Maintain accurate grant calendars and submission deadlines
- Analyze funding trends and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years grant writing experience with $500K+ average awards
- Proven success with federal/state grants and private foundations
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with portfolio samples required
- Advanced knowledge of nonprofit finance and budget development
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with precision
