Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private foundation funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents
- Collaborate with program staff to gather program data and impact metrics
- Manage grant application timelines and ensure compliance with funder requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with program officers and key stakeholders
- Prepare interim and final grant reports demonstrating program outcomes
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Track record securing grants from diverse funding sources (federal, corporate, foundation)
- Expertise in program budget development and fiscal reporting
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and grant databases
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
