Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex IT projects and system upgrades.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government IT security regulations and standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party IT service providers.
- Mentor junior staff members and conduct technical training sessions.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to optimize application efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies with legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT analysis, systems engineering, or software development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with government project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum).
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and information security best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
- Valid California driver’s license may be required for on-site duties.
