Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and software applications.
- Oversee project lifecycles using Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
- Conduct thorough data analysis and performance tuning to optimize system efficiency and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including city departments and vendors, to define technical requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to government security standards, compliance regulations, and data privacy laws.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working within a government or public sector environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
