Responsibilities
- Analyze and Design: Conduct comprehensive system analysis and design solutions to meet complex business requirements for state agencies.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, system failures, and network anomalies efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including requirements specifications, flowcharts, and technical manuals.
- Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new software and hardware solutions into existing state infrastructure.
- Testing: Plan and execute system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and quality assurance protocols.
- Training: Provide technical training and support to internal staff and end-users regarding new systems and software updates.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or .NET is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Government Experience: Prior experience working within a state or local government environment is a significant plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
