Responsibilities
- System Management: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of complex government IT systems and databases.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of software upgrades and system migrations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Compliance: Ensure all technical operations adhere to state and federal security compliance standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and training materials for staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in IT analysis, preferably within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, C#, and Microsoft Server environments. Experience with legacy government systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- License: Valid Washington State Driver’s License (required for on-site government facilities).
