Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability and security.
- Oversee the configuration and management of cloud-based resources and on-premise systems in alignment with state cybersecurity standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for enterprise-level hardware and software applications.
- Conduct system audits and performance monitoring to identify vulnerabilities and optimize system performance.
- Mentor junior staff members and conduct technical training sessions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports for stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or cloud services.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is required.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, network security protocols, and virtualization technologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background investigation.
