Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring compliance with state and federal data protection standards.
- Manage the deployment of enterprise software solutions and vendor relationships.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and mentorship to junior IT staff.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system architectures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to align technology strategies with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering within the public or private sector.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and data privacy laws.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a PA Act 33/34 Clearance.
