Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Conduct system performance analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Develop and enforce information security policies and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy government applications.
- Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee IT procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Professional certification such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or CISSP is preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal and state government compliance requirements (FISMA, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to state facilities as needed.
