Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing high-level troubleshooting and support to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and upgrade IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to data security protocols, compliance standards, and state privacy regulations.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning to prevent downtime.
- Document technical processes, system configurations, and user manuals for knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior IT staff and lead technology initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware troubleshooting.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment.
