Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Configure and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Ensure data integrity and implement robust cybersecurity protocols.
- Provide technical support and training to city staff.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
