Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructure and server environments.
- Provide expert-level technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and end-user systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local information security policies and data privacy regulations.
- Conduct system audits, performance monitoring, and capacity planning to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders to identify technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technical training sessions to foster team growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration, network engineering, or IT support.
- Experience working within a government or large-scale enterprise environment is highly preferred.
- Proficient in TCP/IP, Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
