Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Security: Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures for federal clients, ensuring compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Critical Infrastructure Support: Provide 24/7 Tier 3 technical support for enterprise hardware and software systems, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Project Management: Lead complex IT modernization initiatives, overseeing budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.
- Data Analysis & Integration: Analyze complex data sets to drive decision-making and integrate legacy systems with modern cloud solutions.
- Compliance Auditing: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure adherence to federal regulations and internal policies.
- Talent Development: Mentor junior staff and conduct technical training sessions to foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in federal IT environments, specifically with DOD or GSA contracts.
- Certifications: CISSP, PMP, or Cisco CCNP certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, Python, and Linux administration.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites in Virginia Beach and potentially Ohio for project deployment.
