Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive federal data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to end-users and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct training sessions on best practices and new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee IT service contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, networking, or cybersecurity.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a suitable government security clearance.
