Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and secure network infrastructure.
- Conduct in-depth system analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for mission-critical government applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and enforce architectural standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local data security regulations and privacy laws.
- Provide high-level technical mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
- Oversee project lifecycles from initiation through deployment and long-term maintenance.
- Document technical processes and maintain comprehensive system logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent extensive work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or software development.
- Proven expertise in Python, SQL, and Cloud Computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cybersecurity best practices, and database management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a government, public sector, or large-scale enterprise environment is highly preferred.
