Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT solutions that align with federal standards and agency goals.
- Conduct thorough system analysis and performance tuning to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security regulations, including NIST and FISMA requirements.
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the lifecycle of third-party software and hardware acquisitions.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in federal IT environments.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
