Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions to support state agency needs.
- Conduct system architecture reviews and ensure compliance with federal and state cybersecurity standards.
- Maintain and optimize existing legacy systems to improve performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers and analysts.
- Participate in on-call rotation for system maintenance and emergency troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in software development or systems analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
