Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex IT solutions for health information systems.
- Analyze complex data requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications.
- Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide technical guidance on best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding data security and privacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
