Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network infrastructure for state agencies.
- Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure data security compliance with federal and state regulations (FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT workflows and digital solutions.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technical training sessions.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation through deployment, adhering to strict timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with cybersecurity protocols and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA) are a plus.
