Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal network infrastructure and systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other federal security standards.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for federal client hardware and software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into legacy federal systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to protect sensitive data.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate system logs for auditing purposes.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and government officials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT systems, cybersecurity, or network administration.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) and configuration management tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud) and virtualization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
