Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain complex federal IT systems, including servers, networks, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor FISMA compliance standards, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to security incidents.
- Infrastructure Support: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software solutions for federal clients.
- Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budget constraints are met.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, incident reports, and standard operating procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify technical requirements and drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. (Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree).
- Certifications: Active Security+, CISSP, or equivalent federal certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments, network engineering, or systems administration.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Cisco networking, Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
